INFINITUM GUILD CHARTER

Introduction

Welcome, and thank you for taking an interest in Infinitum!

Guild Structure

The ranking system in Infinitum consists of the following:

Guild Leader – BZYeh.
Director- AJWLion.
Marshals- OCNNORB
Executors- Estrellana, Tuhii, Aeyshae

NEW MEMBERS

New Member Requirements:

1.You must register for the forum boards.

2. You must read the guild charter, and take our rules of conduct to heart.

* It should be noted that the Guild Leader and Director have the right to make an executive decision on membership status (ie. they have final say). So play nice, people!

Benefits of being in Infinitum

1) More friends. When we accept a member into the guild, we welcome his or her individuality. The friendships that you form in Infinitum will last a long time and will help you to become a better person in game and out.

2) Infinite knowledge of the game. We have all learned much about the game and are more than willing to share. When you join you will be able to obtain answers to whatever questions you have, from how to distribute your attribute points to how to use the cube of fate. We also offer many quest guides and walk-throughs on our forum for the benefit of our members.

3) Help. There will always be someone eager to help you when you are part of this guild. Remember, you are not simply asking for help--you are giving our members the opportunity to help you. Whether you need help with a boss, some tough mobs, or with some other aspect of the game, we are ready and willing. While we are eager to provide help, please do not abuse this privilege. Remember that all of us are trying to enjoy the game as well and asking someone to help you with something you can easily do yourself is not very nice.

4) Participation in a huge number of fun and refreshing Guild Events. We understand that not everyone enjoys grinding to that next level only to do it again, so we create events that will help everyone get away from the millstone and do something fun! Did I mention the prizes?

5) A better and more rewarding gaming experience. Infinitum strives to be as relaxing and fun as possible by allowing our members to be themselves. Random chat, Joking about the guild leader, etc. are all part of our daily guild chat. Feel free to let loose--just keep in mind our Rules of Conduct.

Core Values

This set of values is what Infinitum strives for at all times and is a representation of the values that Infinitum members embrace. Additionally, upon clearly demonstrating these values, a member is eligible for a promotion.

-Friendship
-Helpfulness
-Loyalty
-Kindness
-Honesty
-Professionalism
-Compassion

Rules of Conduct

When talking or interacting with anyone, remember that you represent Infinitum, and misrepresenting our values or beliefs is frowned upon. Please do not make a mockery of the faction's good name. Instead help others out as much as possible. Poor representation of the guild in any public channel - not limited to but including, excessive swearing, threatening others, spamming, or violating any PWI public chat policy is a punishable offense.

1. Harassment and discrimination of other players: Infinitum does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Please be aware that we have a very diverse membership, and that odds are the female character you're talking to actually is female. Measure your speech accordingly.

2. Foul language: Guild members are expected to communicate in a courteous manner. However, as we are an adult guild, occasional expletives and foul language will be expected and generally overlooked. Please exercise this privilege in moderation, however, and be aware that Perfect World strictly forbids it in public channels.

3. Adherence to EULA: Violation of Perfect World Terms will be grounds for immediate removal from the guild.

4. Drama: Infinitum strives to promote a guild atmosphere of harmony and tolerance. Should an issue arise with another guild member, please do your best to resolve the issue privately between yourselves. If necessary, you may request that an officer intervene. Should you have a concern about guild policy, please feel welcome to confer with an officer at any time. Your feedback is always welcome and appreciated. We must also stress that to prevent such an event from occurring, you must always be respectful of your fellow guild member, no matter how much their views clash with yours.

5. Looting: Loot received during Final Battle Runs (FB's) will ALWAYS go to the tab holder (Tab holders of FB runs get all the drops. DQ items and miscellaneous drops here and there are negligible, but should be given upon request). Loot received in solo and small group situations will be handled by the parties involved. Should you receive items that you don't need, we encourage you to consider donating them to the guild banking system or directly to guild members who can use them.

6. PK-ing (Player Killing): While Infinitum resides within Heaven's Tear (a PVE Server), there will be those of you who are curious to venture into the waters of PK mode. This behavior is acceptable, but it must follow a certain set of standards. Both parties must have full and total understanding that they're in PK mode, and that they're able to be killed by other players. PK-ing players 15 levels lower than you is strongly frowned upon. Infinitum members should maintain a certain level of dignity and should refrain from attacking those much weaker than them. Additionally, actions such as PK-ing people, reviving them, and then PK-ing them again is not tolerated. Forays into such behavior will necessitate a ban from the faction, as they smear Infinitum's good name. Infinitum holds strong standards not only when interacting within the faction, but outside as well.

7. Scamming: The exploitation of scams to obtain more money/items than you should actually be receiving is heavily frowned upon and is an infringement of Infinitum's core values. The use of trade bugs/exploits will result not only in a kick from the faction, but might also get you banned from the game. Thus, Infinitum members are expected to adhere to game rules and common decency when trading/merchanting with others. Infinitum also does not approve of its members lying to get what they want in a trade, so please tread carefully in your dealings with others.
